A prominent real estate firm approached BlueSky with several key business needs. They were in need of support in hiring both full-time and contract-based resources that possessed a unique set of technical skills. While these skill sets were the primary driver, they also wanted candidates who represented a good fit for the company’s culture and core values. Additionally, they were in the process of reorganizing their company and looked to BlueSky to focus on new technology domains that are critical to delivering business value, while their staff focused on the demands of the transition.

Our initial focus with this client was centered on developing a deep understanding of their business, culture and core values and creating a clear picture of how the company was evolving and changing. These efforts allowed us to identify the company’s key priorities and develop a sourcing strategy and plan that met their initial hiring needs while also allowing us to pro-actively support the company’s evolving needs over time.

BlueSky was able to assist this company during its transitional period by providing onshore resources that possessed hard to find skills (SharePoint, SAP) as well as the ability to lead strategic change within the company. BlueSky worked closely with their executive leadership team to bring in a Senior Manager and Director to spearhead new technology initiatives focused on improving business intelligence, optimizing digital media assets and the customer experience. By meeting these critical IT needs and developing strong relationships with the company’s key stakeholders and in-house hiring team, BlueSky’s role has evolved into that of a strategic partner, and today the services we provide include both recruiting and project delivery.
