A leading Fixed Income Asset Management firm recognized an opportunity to improve the efficiency of its recruiting operations by adopting the Avature Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This ATS provides leading-edge capabilities that can provide HR, the recruiting team and the business with a much more efficient way of sourcing, tracking and closing top quality candidates. BlueSky’s ten year relationship with this client allowed us to immediately start delivering the goods.

Action.

BlueSky sourced, screened and presented a candidate to lead the implementation. This BlueSky Consultant was then interviewed and selected by the client team. Her initial responsibilities included leading the global end-to-end implementation of the Avature ATS; redesigning the project roadmap to better balance HR’s strategic goals and key implementation considerations; and establish a program governance plan to drive the business, vendor and other key stakeholders to meet key milestones.

Results.

Ultimately, the new ATS resulted in improved efficiency and effectiveness while reducing overall recruiting expenses. More specifically, it improved candidate and vendor engagement throughout a candidate’s lifecycle; created recruiting process efficiencies on candidate sourcing/management and automated feedback collection; and it streamlined campus recruiting, lateral recruitment and the new hire process.
