One of BlueSky’s clients has experienced remarkable growth since its inception in 2012. This national medical practice was growing by leaps and bounds. Staffing expanded from 100 physicians in 2014 to 300 physicians and 200 supporting staff members by 2016. Success creates its own set of challenges and it was clear that a larger support staff was needed with a focus on creating operational efficiency and agility.
Action.
BlueSky was tasked with filling support roles in the client’s Revenue Cycle Management team. These roles covered all levels in a variety of functional areas including Project Management, Process Optimization, Coding, Compliance, Payor Credentialing, Client Service and Billing Operations. The BlueSky team sourced, screened and recruited candidates with the required skills and the desired behavioral attributes.
Results.
To date, BlueSky has placed six candidates with this practice over the last two years, ranging from Analyst roles to Director-level positions. These employees have helped sustain, optimize and expand billing, client service and credentialing functions within the company. We also provided a consultant to lead the physical move of the billing team to a new office, providing greater capacity and smoother operations. Our client continues to experience tremendous growth. As of October of 2018, there are now over 1,000 physicians in the organization, serving more than 750 hospitals and clinics across 17 states.
