BlueSky’s long term client is looking to embark on a multi-pronged strategic transformation program that is centered on innovating and adopting next generation technologies like AI, Machine Learning, Chatbots and others. To achieve this, they were seeking candidates with deep strategic and analytics experience but also comfortable in building and deploying solutions built on advanced and new technology. Given the demand for this field, and breadth of industry expertise that was being sought, this was a hard skillset to find amongst a fairly limited pool of candidates.
Action.
BlueSky identified and developed a candidate profile with a tech, industry and product development skills matrix. We identified the need for experience in building and running high performing teams that could deliver on growth and cost improvement objectives, while nurturing an eco-system of start-ups and technology partners. BlueSky was able to tap into its network of experienced management consultants and start-up veterans to identify and prospect the right candidates to join the team.
