When we act in the world we expect results, and when those results do not appear we may get agitated or upset. We ‘lose patience’ and demand that the world around us or inside of us respond to our desires…now!

Ironically ‘losing patience’ actually decreases the probability that you will experience what you want. Losing patience is resistance to what is. When we resist reality we tense up, get angry and reject the world around us. This energy is repellent…acting to drive away the very thing we are seeking to create!

The key is to do your best and then relax into whatever appears. Allow time for your desires to manifest. This is the nature of patience. Patience is, essentially, faith. When we have faith we trust that, in the end, everything is going to be OK. Faith is the opposite of fear…it is an attractive quality.

No matter what you are trying to create or change, have patience with yourself, the people in your life, and the world around you. Trust that everything is happening in time. Have faith that everything will turn out well in the end. When you do this you do more than make your life easier, you actually increase the probability that things will turn out the way you want!
